How much masturbation is normal?
How much of anything is normal? Once before each meal? Twice before bedtime? If it does not interfere with the rest of your activities, like going to school, doing homework, helping at home or participating in sports that please you, then it is normal.
This does not mean that you have to masturbate or that you should masturbate. Not everyone likes to do it. Not all families consider masturbation to be correct. However, some families do accept it as a natural part of life, as long as it is done in private.
Here is something interesting: most girls do not have orgasms when they start their sexual activity. In addition, a recent study showed that those who did achieve the climax, had received encouraging messages from their mothers about sexuality, and part of this message was that masturbation is a good way to discover what is pleasing to you.
And if I do not like to masturbate, does that mean I have a problem?
No. Many young people, men and women, who have grown up in homes where it was not allowed for religious reasons, do not masturbate. Neither do many people who were taught that masturbation is disgusting. The important thing is not to do it if you do not want it, but accept the scientific evidence that masturbation is normal and that people can do it without any moral damage.
